I arranged “The First Noel” for my chorus, Northwest Sound, for Christmas 2023. We had sung my arrangement of “Still, Still, Still” for several years and everyone told me they loved it, but I was ready to move on to something else this year. So I created this version of “The First Noel” as a spiritual sequel to that arrangement. The chorus loved it – it sounds impressive, but isn’t too difficult to learn. Here’s hoping many more quartets and choruses will pick it up for future Christmases.
